All Donations, Funds raised will benefit not only our foundation but our warrior ambassador families. These families are chosen by us and will be supported over the course of a year to help alleviate some of the financial struggles they face in the daily living and management of epilepsy. The Epilepsy Warriors Foundation is a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit. All donations are 100% tax-deductible, and we thank you for supporting our children and families.
Seeking an outgoing, organized Development (Fundraising) Intern to assist the Development Department with fundraising efforts through written solicitations, research of prospective donors, and grant compliance.
The Development Intern will assist with the fundraising efforts, specifically
Generate gift acknowledgements
Data entry of donations
Follow-up with donors via letter and phone
Researching prospective donors
The Development Intern will research, write and submit a grant, taking the grant writing process from start to finish
In addition to administrative duties, the Development Intern will have duties at events as needed on (evenings and or weekends)
Staffing reserved seating area and interacting directly with patrons
Assistance in setting up for special events for patrons at events
Brochure and Program distribution
Intern must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.
Excellent internet research skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access computer programs preferred.
Knowledge of Photoshop

This position is limited to currently enrolled undergraduates attending college and looking to work in the Fundraising Non Profit Sector.
