Volunteers Needed

The Epilepsy Warriors Foundation is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about Funding a Cure for Epilepsy now—to move together toward a world free of Epilepsy and the Seizures it causes. Epilepsy stops our Children and Family members from having good quality of life. We exist to make sure it doesn’t. We are looking to fill the following volunteer positions within our foundation. These positions would give you the opportunity to Make a Difference, to feel what it is like to have meaning in ones life. “To whom much is given, much is expected.” Working for a Non-Profit will help you in so many areas of your life it will prepare you to work hard, it will help broaden your skills by having multiple responsibilities.

Meet talented and passionate people while working for a non-profit. You will have the opportunity to surround yourself with some of the most amazing, caring, generous individuals and people you will ever know. One way of improving yourself is to seek the company of people who are the best in the field. Get to know the people who sit on the Board of Directors because they share the same goals and often can help you bridge the gap to the for-profit world.

Doing what you love and are Passionate About helps to keep you motivated and brings much joy and admiration. If you love your job, it makes your life easier. That will be a wonderful benefit when you will be spending this time in your life working and giving for the good of the non-profit. If you align your occupation with something you are passionate about, your performance on the job will be better than if you were to work in a corporation without passion.

You can change the world. Corporations, particularly a public company beholden to shareholders, your job always is about how you can work by increasing the company’s bottom line. There is little personal reward or gains in that goal, so corporations make up for this by offering salaries, bonuses, stock options, and a host of other so called benefits. In a non-profit organization, you are also “paid” by the satisfaction of doing something good for the world’s benefit, whether it is saving lives, reducing poverty, making education affordable, bringing enrichment opportunities to children, or some other worthy cause.

Working for a non-profit organization isn’t for everyone, but you can have a comfortable and rewarding life, and you can build your own wealth, by working for a non-profit and for the greater good by doing it for the glory of changing and saving a life.
